Biography
Thomas A. Swafford is a senior attorney at Ball Morse Lowe. Thomas focuses on providing each client with individualized assessment and instruction throughout the representation process. He understands that each case may be the most important event occurring in the client’s life, and as such, he treats each case as if it is the client’s most important matter in his/her life, by explaining every step of the process and providing thorough review and analysis of each case.
Thomas is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Payne County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He graduated from Oklahoma City University School of law in 2010, having previously received his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Oklahoma State University in 2006.
His practice of law focuses on the areas of family law, including divorce and legal separation, custody/visitation, child support, paternity, adoption, guardianship, and criminal defense, including expungements of criminal records. Thomas received the 2018 Payne County Bar Association pro bono service award in recognition of his legal representation and services to those in the community who would otherwise be unable to afford to hire an attorney. In addition, Thomas was rated by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the area of Family Law for years 2019 and 2020.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife and children, participating in motorsports activities, and experiencing life’s new adventures.
